City Council and School Board Candidates Forum at All Saints Church
Join City Conversations, with opening remarks offered by Occidental College Professor Peter Dreier, for a lively dialogue with the candidates for Pasadena City Council and PUSD School Board as they address Dreier's report on the "Tale of Two Cities," Tuesday, March 1, from 6:30 p.m. in the All Saints Church Forum.
Dreier's report documents the wide disparity between rich and poor in Pasadena, and the questions facilitated by the City Conversations Strategic Planning Members will center around how candidates will address our city’s need for more jobs, affordable housing, and a better educational system. All candidates have been invited to participate.
The School Board Candidate Forum begins at 6:30 p.m. and the City Council Candidate Forum begins at 7:45 p.m. The event is sponsored by City Conversations, a group of community leaders formed by the Office for Creative Connections at All Saints Church to promote policies and practices that create a just and peaceful community, and to identify and eradicate policies and practices that perpetuate racial and ethnic inequities.

All Saints is a Church with a Radical Welcome. At every worship service we say, “Whoever you are and wherever you find yourself on your journey of faith, you are welcome.” All our worship and work is dedicated to the goal of turning the human race into the human family. Our mission is to make God’s love tangible through Spirituality, Community, and Peace and Justice.
This blog is a place to come for news about that mission ... stories from within the All Saints Church community and reports about All Saints Church from the wider community.
Whoever you are and wherever you find yourself, we hope you'll find something here to enlighten, encourage and challenge you. WELCOME!
